Her professional practice focuses on Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, with experience in the analysis and drafting of legal briefs addressed to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary, as well as in the preparation of preventive legal reports.

She has worked at our firm supporting investigations and/or criminal proceedings involving property crimes, tax crimes, crimes against public faith, money laundering, corruption of public officials, among others; actively collaborating in the planning of defense strategies and the development of courses of action in ongoing cases.

Valeria has also assisted in the implementation of crime prevention models in compliance with the law governing the administrative liability of legal entities.

She is a graduate of Universidad de Lima and holds a Diploma in Dispute Resolution. Additionally, she has complemented her academic background with specialized studies in International Law and Human Rights at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain.

She has experience with public-private partnerships and real estate-finance projects, including conducting due diligence, creation of security interests, negotiating contracts related to property rights, and handling land clearance procedures for real estate, agricultural, and mining development and financing projects.

Alissa has complemented her education and professional practice through two academic exchanges. At the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), she completed master’s courses in Government Contracts, International Commercial Contracts, and Indigenism, Law, and Nature. She was later awarded a scholarship to attend the summer school at East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, where she explored the legal, commercial, and economic aspects of Asia-Pacific projects. These experiences enabled her to develop a comprehensive and comparative understanding of various international contracting scenarios.

She has served as a teaching assistant for Property, Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights, as well as Constitutional Interpretation courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has also worked as Director of Academic Research at Asociación Civil IUS ET VERITAS, leading and managing several editorial projects across diverse legal areas.
